Martin Swinger is a Nationally awarded singer/songwriter/arts educator. 48 years of performing experience, 40 years of songwriting experience, 32 years professional performance experience, 20 years arts educator experience, 20 years arts consultant experience, 15 years professional Emcee-ing experience, 10 years sing-around-the-campfire leader experience, 5 years improvisational singing experience. Martin infuses his energetic performance of Americana, Folk, Swing, Jazz and original songs with his 3+ octave vocal range, extensive acoustic guitar skills and instantly engaging audience appeal. In addition, Martin leads school residencies in songwriting in the K-5 classroom, Continuing Education workshops for teachers, and facilitates community songwriting projects. Martin is also a founding member of a cappella improvisational ensemble, ImproVox offering performances and 'group improv singing workshops' called a VORTEX.
